Excellence in Laboratory Quality, Accreditation, and Capacity Building
The Quality Management Representative (QMR) Office at PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Lahore, serves as the focal point for the development, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of quality management systems across the organization. PCSIR Lahore comprises ten research centers, laboratories of eight centers are accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 – General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories. The QMR Office also oversees the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with internationally recognized quality standards.
PCSIR Lahore currently maintains an accredited scope of 507 testing parameters under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. In support of its continual expansion and commitment to technical excellence, an additional 275 testing parameters have been submitted to the Pakistan National Accreditation Council (PNAC) for accreditation assessment during the upcoming surveillance cycle anticipated in September 2026.
